FAITH – link between GOD and man

Professor: do you believe in GOD ?

Student : Absolutely, sir.

Professor : Is GOD good ?

Student : Sure.

Professor: Is GOD all powerful ?

Student : Yes.

Professor: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to GOD to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But GOD didn’t. How is this GOD good then? Hmm?

(Student was silent.)

Professor: You can’t answer, can you ? Let’s start again, young fella. Is GOD good?

Student : Yes.

Professor: Is satan good ?

Student : No.

Professor: Where does satan come from ?

Student : From … GOD …

Professor: That’s right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?

Student : Yes.

Professor: Evil is everywhere, isn’t it ? And GOD did make everything. Correct?

Student : Yes.

Professor: So who created evil ?

(Student did not answer.)

Professor: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don’t they?

Student : Yes, sir.

Professor: So, who created them ?

(Student had no answer.)

Professor: Science says you have 5 Senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son, have you ever seen GOD?

Student : No, sir.

Professor: Tell us if you have ever heard your GOD?

Student : No , sir.

Professor: Have you ever felt your GOD, tasted your GOD, smelt your GOD? Have you ever had any sensory perception of GOD for that matter?

Student : No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t.

Professor: Yet you still believe in Him?

Student : Yes.

Professor : According to Empirical, Testable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says your GOD doesn’t exist. What do you say to that, son?

Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.

Professor: Yes, faith. And that is the problem Science has.

Student : Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Professor: Yes.

Student : And is there such a thing as cold?

Professor: Yes.

Student : No, sir. There isn’t.

(The lecture theater became very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.

(There was pin-drop silence in the lecture theater.)

Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?

Professor: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?

Student : You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light. But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and its called darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it is, well you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?

Professor: So what is the point you are making, young man ?

Student : Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Professor: Flawed ? Can you explain how?

Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good GOD and a bad GOD. You are viewing the concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, Science can’t even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing.

Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Professor: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student : Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shook his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument was going.)

Student : Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor. Are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?

(The class was in uproar.)

Student : Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain?

(The class broke out into laughter. )

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room was silent. The Professor stared at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Professor: I guess you’ll have to take them on faith, son.

Student : That is it sir … Exactly ! The link between man & GOD is FAITH. That is all that keeps things alive and moving.

P.S. I believe you have enjoyed the conversation. And if so, you’ll probably want your friends / colleagues to enjoy the same, won’t you?

Forward this to increase their knowledge … or FAITH.

By the way, that student was EINSTEIN.

When science interferes..

In 1983, a team of deeply pious scientists conducted a radical experiment in an undisclosed facility. The scientists had theorized that a human without access to any senses or ways to perceive stimuli would be able to perceive the presence of God. They believed that the five senses clouded our awareness of eternity, and without them, a human could actually establish contact with God by thought. An elderly man who claimed to have “nothing to left to live for” was the only test subject to volunteer. To purge him of all his senses, the scientists performed a complex operation in which every sensory nerve connection to the brain was surgically severed. Although the test subject retained full muscular function, he could not see, hear, taste, smell, or feel. With no possible way to communicate with or even sense the outside world, he was alone with his thoughts.

Scientists monitored him as he spoke aloud about his state of mind in jumbled, slurred sentences that he couldn’t even hear. After four days, the man claimed to be hearing hushed, unintelligible voices in his head. Assuming it was an onset of psychosis, the scientists paid little attention to the man’s concerns.

Two days later, the man cried that he could hear his dead wife speaking with him, and even more, he could communicate back. The scientists were intrigued, but were not convinced until the subject started naming dead relatives of the scientists. He repeated personal information to the scientists that only their dead spouses and parents would have known. At this point, a sizeable portion of scientists left the study.

After a week of conversing with the deceased through his thoughts, the subject became distressed, saying the voices were overwhelming. In every waking moment, his consciousness was bombarded by hundreds of voices that refused to leave him alone. He frequently threw himself against the wall, trying to elicit a pain response. He begged the scientists for sedatives, so he could escape the voices by sleeping. This tactic worked for three days, until he started having severe night terrors. The subject repeatedly said that he could see and hear the deceased in his dreams.

Only a day later, the subject began to scream and claw at his non-functional eyes, hoping to sense something in the physical world. The hysterical subject now said the voices of the dead were deafening and hostile, speaking of hell and the end of the world. At one point, he yelled “No heaven, no forgiveness” for five hours straight. He continually begged to be killed, but the scientists were convinced that he was close to establishing contact with God.

After another day, the subject could no longer form coherent sentences. Seemingly mad, he started to bite off chunks of flesh from his arm. The scientists rushed into the test chamber and restrained him to a table so he could not kill himself. After a few hours of being tied down, the subject halted his struggling and screaming. He stared blankly at the ceiling as tear drops silently streaked across his face. For two weeks, the subject had to be manually rehydrated due to the constant crying. Eventually, he turned his head and, despite his blindness, made focused eye contact with a scientist for the first time in the study. He whispered “I have spoken with God, and he has abandoned us” and his vital signs stopped. There was no apparent cause of death.

Another dream

Some dreams stay with you forever / drag you around and lead you back to where you were.

Sometimes dreams are consciously or unconsciously related to our daily life. Like, they are sometimes the ‘visions‘ of the future. Or simply I can say, some dreams are the real image of whats going to happen in the coming days or moments. Yes this article’s for those who don’t believe in the fact that dreams are realistic and are meaningful as well.

People who are aware of the realism of dreams when go through the dream cycle, they become afraid of ‘what’s going to happen?’. The fear of which takes them out of their minds sporadically.

On the other hand, dreams are the positive signs shown by God to few people whom HE want to be on the right path for some reason (- reason unknown to me). HE guides them through the dreams. But it, on-a-whole, depends on the dreamer that how he/she interprets it.

Again, I dreamt weirdly..

I saw….

I am standing still in an open area with a very serious look on my face. I have a bag with me. It seems like I am either going or coming from somewhere. There is a vulture along with another bird, I don’t remember if it’s a crow or a seagull. That bird flutters in the obvious blue sky, vulture chases.. There is blood all around. As I turn, I realize that vultures have increased in number with their yellow beaks transformed into the blood red ones. It seems like they are devouring someone. Far my gaze meets with a chair on which a man’s sitting with the head detached from his body and the blood’s coming out of his neck. I – still having a very fine, obvious and serious look – turn and take few steps toward my home. Precipitously I feel blood streaming down my mouth. I can even taste the saltiness and bitterness in that blood. It’s liquid with the threads which I am pulling out from my throat with the help of my hand.

And I awoke..

If anybody have ‘any’ idea about what it was all about, do share and share your experience of the weird dreams (if you have had any) in the comment section below as well.

1 MIN READING: ‘the circle of joy’

A farmer knocked heavily at a convent’s door. When the brother doorkeeper opened the door, the farmer stretched out a magnificent bunch of grapes to him.

“Dear brother doorkeeper, these are the most beautiful grapes produced in my vineyard. And I come here to give them to you as a gift,” said the farmer.

“Thank you. I will take them immediately to the Abbot, who will be happy about your offer,” said the doorkeeper happily.

“No. I brought them for you,” said the farmer.

“For me?” The doorkeeper turned red because he thought he didn’t deserve such beautiful gift of nature.

“Yes!” the farmer insisted, “Because whenever I knock at this door, you open it. Whenever I needed your help because of the harvest being destroyed by drought, you gave me a piece of bread and a cup of wine. I want this bunch of grapes to bring you a little of the sun’s love, of the rain’s beauty and of God’s miracle, as He made it grow so beautifully.”

The doorkeeper placed the bunch of grapes in front of him and spent the morning admiring it. As the bunch of grapes was really gorgeous, he decided to give it to the Abbot as a gift, who had always stimulated him with words of wisdom.

The Abbot was very happy about the grapes, but remembered that there was a brother who was sick at the convent, and thought, “I will give him the grape bunch. Who knows, it might bring some joy to his life.”

And so he did. However, the grapes didn’t stay very long with the sick brother, because he thought, “Brother cook has been taking care of me for so long, nourishing me with the best there is. I am sure he will appreciate it.”

When brother cook brought his meal at the lunch time, he gave him the grapes.

“They are yours,” said the sick brother, “as you are always in contact with the produce that nature offers; you will know what to do with this work of God.”

Brother cook was fascinated by the beauty of the bunch. So perfect, he thought, that there is no one better to prize them as brother sacristan; as he was responsible for the guard of the Blessed Sacrament and many at the monastery saw him as a holy man; he would be able to value the marvel of nature.

The brother, on his turn, gave the grapes as a gift to the youngest novice, so that he could understand that God’s work is found in the smallest details of creation.

When the novice received it, his heart filled with the glory of the Lord, because he had never seen such a beautiful bunch of grapes. At the same moment, he remembered the first time he came to the monastery and the person who opened the door to him; it was this gesture that allowed him to be in that community of people who knew how to value miracles today.

Before the nightfall, he took the grape bunch to brother doorkeeper.

“Eat it and enjoy it,” he said. “Because you spend most of your time here alone and these grapes will make you very happy.”

The doorkeeper understood that the gift had really been destined to be with him, so he savoured each grape of that bunch and slept happily.

The circle was closed — the circle of happiness and joy, which always stretches out around the generous people.

WHEN I ASK YOU TO LISTEN

When I ask you to listen to me and you start giving advice and you have not done what I asked.

When I ask you to listen to me and you begin to tell me why I shouldn’t feel that way, you are trampling on my feelings.

When I ask you to listen to me and you feel you have to do something to solve my problem you have failed me, strange as that may seem.

Listen! All I asked, was that you listen not talk or do – just hear me.

Advice is cheap; ten cents will get you both Dear Abby and Billy Graham in the same newspaper, and I can do for myself; I’m not helpless.

When you do something for me that I can and need to do for myself, you contribute to my fear and weakness.

But, when you accept as a simple fact that I do feel what I feel, no matter how irrational, then I can quit trying to convince you and can get about the business of understanding what’s behind this irrational feeling.

And when that’s clear, the answers are obvious and I don’t need advice.

Irrational feelings make sense when we understand what’s behind them.

Perhaps that’s why prayer works, sometimes, for some people because God is mute and he doesn’t give advice or try to fix things.

He“just listens and lets you work it out for yourself.”

So please listen and just hear me. And if you want to talk, wait a minute for your turn; And I’ll listen to you.

So what would you prefer ? Being helped or just being heard ?

I am no more “Human”

Ramadan is a month of Blessing, According to the Holy Quran, the doors of hell are closed, and Satan is put behind bars. Then why is the world in a state of anarchy ? why is ‘peace’ no where to be found? why is it so? The so-called “evil” is still on the loose?

Satan is captured, but the little satan resides in each and every one of us. And with its full strength, he is active, let it be the Killing of Shias, the Persecution of Ahmadis, the forced conversions of Hindu minority, the Christian community accused of blasphemy, or target killings, murder, rape, every social evil that you can possibly think of, i actually witnessed it in the last month. The situation has come to this point, that one Muslim puts an allegation on the other, that he is not a practicing Muslim.

My question today is “Is it you who is to judge whether a man is a practicing Muslim or not ? Whether a man has the right to live or not ?”

Isn’t that something for God to decide? There is a reason why there is an after life, why we have a believe on judgement day. then why don’t you let God Judge, when the time comes?

Muslim being killed in Burma, is wrong. What about all those innocents murdered in the streets of Karachi, Gilgit, Quetta, Peshawar?
Are they any less of Muslim than the Burmese?

Is God just for Muslims? Was Prophet(PBUH) sent just for the Muslims ? If not, than why hatred towards humanity?
Forget the religion i follow, forget my color, forget my cast, forget my background, can’t i be not treated as just a human? As just a creation of God.

God made us? right. We are his perfect creation? When HE doesn’t discriminates, why do we?
If for HIM, our creator, each and every one us is equal. than who are we to differentiate? Disgrace the other on basis of ethnicity, color, creed, etc.

Cannibals, never used to do what we are doing to other humans. They killed to prey, and we…. we kill just for the sake of fun, or maybe we are bored much.

Believe on me, it’s very easy to comment on Facebook, tweet about it, but is very hard to actually go through it in reality. Ask the mother, who lost her only child in this sectarian violence. Ask those orphans, whom parents went to the market, to get clothes for them, and never came back. Ask those laborers who, when step out don’t know will they see their family again or not? Ask that father who is burying his own son.

A soldier dies doing his duty is a “martyr” while an ordinary man dies doing his duty, no one gives a damn about it. Death of an ordinary man or a puny insect, no difference.

For many of us Ramadan is over, for some one day remains, than Satan would be out, and with his kind help and support, we’ll take Evil to another level. Flush moral ethics down the drain, who needs them? When we have T.V anchors to discuss all day, when we have the government to curse, in fact everyone else to curse except ourselves.

Summing it all up, we are ‘not Humans’ anymore, being a Muslim, Hindu, Jew, Atheist comes later.

Life, a precious gift!

Every being who’ll have a look on this article would probably must agree with me If I say “Life’s a second name for difficulties”. In the mean time, life is beautiful as in it’s a gift for us. It’s too precious to waste. If you take your life seriously then you will truly understand that each day is a gift.

The thing is, like any other book, the book of life contains or includes various chapters. Some of which are of extreme joys while some are of supreme worries and frustrations on the other side.

A person cannot b entirely happy of having everything as this is in human nature – this creature, even if he’s blessed with everything, will have had a darker side of thoughts, there will be a desire to get even more.. A person have everything what he needs, everything he desires for but still there’s something that’s lacking. From here, he starts figuring out that what actually it is that takes him insane in the present minute and takes him back to normal in the next minute. This state of mind builds up depression plus anxiety. From here, he sticks to be a pessimist.

Think momentarily about the things that you are worried of; I mean if you think seriously nothing is more precious or amazing than life itself. When you understand life is a splendid gift from above you will never miss out a single thing. In fact, sometimes you feel like having nothing. Remember! When you’ll have God in your life you will have purpose. Seek him out.

Quoting something said by a friend:
“Nobody has a life free of Hardship, It’s actually these hardships that shape our character. Because due to these, we feel alive.”

Life is a gift, it is an incredible, splendid gift. Remember; how you live your life, determines the quality and how you look at your life, reflects your value and priority.
Give a kick to distressing stuff, worries and frustrations! And SMILE for having enough in your life. For having God with you. For having your parents around you. For having people who truly care for you.

Life’s beautiful, a very beautiful gift!

It’s not about shedding tears or regretting things every time. It’s much more then that.

Be free. Think free. Live free! 🙂

Have a firm belief in HIM!

He’s always there,
when I’m left in the lurch.

He’s always there,
when hatred covers me.

He’s always there,
when I’m afflicted.

He’s always there,
when i need someone devilishly.

He’s always there,
when I’m teared apart.

He’s always there,
when I yowl.

He’s there till hell freezes over!
To make me feel, to make me realize that

HE is mine.

ALL MINE!

That “HE” is my God!

The creator!

The Almighty!The fosterer!

-No matter how hard, thorny or weird is the situation in which you are or that you’re facing. Stand confidently, face-to-face! Face each and everything with perfect conviction. Trust God PLUS have strong faith in him. No matter what happens, He’s with you! No doubt, He’s the only who’s nearer than your blood vessel.

A Dream

Sometimes dreams are consciously or unconsciously  related to our daily life. Like, they are sometimes the ‘visions‘ of the future. Or simply I can say, some dreams are the real image of whats going to happen in the coming days or moments. Yes this article’s  for those who don’t believe in the fact that dreams are realistic and are meaningful as well.

People who are aware of the realism of dreams when go through the dream cycle, they become afraid of ‘what’s going to happen?’. The fear of which takes them out of their minds sporadically.

About a month back, I dreamed weirdly. When my eyes opened, my mouth was dried like I’ve been yelling from a long time. I walked to the window of my room and stood there paralyzed with fear. In the mean time I got flashbacks, of the dream I just saw, in my mind.

I saw….

I’m walking bare-footed in the deserty sand in search of a glass of water. Nothing is clearly visible to my eyes as they are filled with dusty tears. My ears are not able to hear anything because of my own squawks. I have a severe throat-ache. I am yelling. Totally isolated. No one’s there to stabilize the condition I am in. I am running here and there hyperly from the top of the mountainous deserty slopes down into the v-curves. Have fallen out. There’s a desperate desire for only a single drop of fresh liquid. Instantly, my eyes met with a fresh water pond at walking distance. An inverted rainbow appeared on my face but it vanished when I got an idea that my body is immovable; is not able to move even an inch. In the end, I am lying down, covered with sand , mouth still open, eyes still on the pond, hoping that God is the one who strengthens man and , no doubt, every being HE created. HE surely will provide me with the strength to reach the pond..

The word ‘not now‘ exists in God’s dictionary but there’s no ‘never‘!

Be righteous! Stick to your aim! God surely will help you!

Ayaat from Surah no. 94:

“Surely after hardship there is ease. After hardship indeed there is ease.”
